MNJYSA COACH AND REFEREE MEETINGS

Folks,

In preparation for the spring 2002 season, we have scheduled several coach-referee meetings. While we have scheduled five meetings, the last meeting (March 13) is primarily designed for coaches of small-sided teams. While coaches of small-sided teams who cannot attend the March 13 meeting will be welcome at our other meetings, we encourage them to try to attend the March 13 meeting. Of course, other coaches who cannot attend the other meetings will be welcome at the March 13 meeting, but should expect that in addition to the Handbook matters, we will be covering other matters at that meeting.

Referees will have to attend one of the first four meetings, as Bob Stubbs cannot be available to attend the March 13 meeting.

Coaches and Clubs should be reminded that the current MNJYSA Handbook (Section 5.3 Page 16) requires that at least one coach-representative from each team attend on meeting each season. The team may be represented by difference coach-representative at each of the meetings.

The meeting dates, times and places are:

February 25 8:00PM Columbia H.S. (Maplewood)

February 26 8:00PM Upper Middle School (Plainsboro)

March 4 8:00PM Italian American Club (North Plainfield)

March 5 8:00PM Italian American Club (North Plainfield)

March 13 8:00PM Italian American Club (North Plainfield) No referees—focus of the meeting will be directed toward coaches of small-sided teams.

Your assistance in getting out the word about the meetings will be appreciated.
