MNJYSA FALL 2002 INTRUCTIONS

TO ALL CLUB OFFICERS,

As you are aware, during this summer we will be making the transition from our prior Web Site to our new improved web site.

In the interim we will be utilizing our current site to Team Entry, Club Entry will be the same as in the past; where you submit hard copy of Club Registration form to your Regional Vice President.

As you are also aware we have increased to Nine (9) Regional Vice Presidents and Realigned Clubs who are assigned to each VP. This additionally resulted in change of the Club and Team Numbers as they relate to Region Designation.

We respectfully request you assist us in accomplishing this task by following the below Procedure in Order:

1. Sign onto League Club page under League Report www.mnjysa.org/club

2. Review the Region Realignment and record your new Region Designation

3. Return to Club Page, select "Team Registration" enter your Club Number

and Club PIN# in boxes provided

4. Select "Add a New Person" fill in all information in appropriate boxes

for any new Coaches Club Officers etc.

    1. PLEASE REMEMBER TO MAKE DUPLICATE ENTRIES FOR ANY PERSON WHO SERVES IN MORE THAN ONE CAPACITY; i.e. if Club Officer, or Two Club Offices (Club President, League Contact, Web Manager) CLUBS MUST HAVE AT LEAST TWO PEOPLE NAMED ONE OF WHOM CAN SERVE IN TWO CAPACITIES; and coach (see example):
    1. Bob Beck  League Contact
    2. Bob Beck  Web Manager
    3. Bob Beck - Coach

5. Select "Drop an Existing Team" and follow directions to drop any Spring

2002 Team which is not playing Fall 2002 with MNJYSA

6. Select "Register an Existing Team" and enter information for any team

which did play with MNJYSA in Spring 2002 and is playing Fall 2002

7. Select "Register a New Team" and enter information for any team

which did not play MNJYSA Spring 2002 but is playing Fall 2002

8. ONCE COMPLETED WITH ALL OF THE ABOVE; IT IS

IMPERATIVE YOU THEN SELECT "Edit Club Records"
    1. All Persons are listed alphabetically
    2. Select Edit for each Person
    3. Under the Team Number Field change the first two digits by backspacing those out and replace with single letter digit for your new region; i.e. Piscataway would change from "CE1606" to "D1606"
    4. ALL ENTRIES FOR CLUB OFFICERS SHOULD CHANGE NUMBER TO "Region Letter, Club Number, 00" also note if serving as a coach one entry will have team number, leave intact; the other title you should also change to the appropriate (see sample):
    1. Piscataway Bob Beck D1600 League Contact
    2. Piscataway Bob Beck D1600 Web Manager
    3. Piscataway Bob Beck D1601 Team Contact

Once you have completed all of the above; go to either Main Page or Club select "People Search" then select your Club, review and verify that all entries published are correct.
